Title: How Do You Say Thank You?
Written On: June 2002 By: Stephanie

We're sorry that we can't print the person's name she is looking for. There should be enough clues to get this to the right person.

Last night was unforgettable; I was in Charlotte NC with my younger brother Brice at the Pop Disaster Tour concert. I surprised Brice with front row in the pit, I had to make his birthday present one to remember. Jim Eats World was the opening act, they did and incredible job given the circumstance. It was there last night on the tour and several members of the road crew wanted to give them a night to remember. There was glitter, water guns, men in bunny suites and instant potatoes that spastically appeared on stage during their show. At the end of the show the drummer tossed his drumsticks in the crowd and I was lucky enough to catch one. During the clean up one of the pyrotechnic men asked if I’d like to come back stage. I pondered the idea for a moment looked at my brother and told him to meet me at the car after the show. I thought to myself, “your 25, you not going to have the opportunity handed to you again, and Brice is 17 he’ll be fine.” The techs name was xxxxx very attractive and polite, I realize his intentions were less than honorable, but he at least had enough respect for me not to attempt to molest me right way. Periodically, xxxxx would stop by and attempted to convenience me to stay and hang-out after the show, part of me really wanted simply for the experience of it but in the back of my mind was my brother and my mother disowning me for losing him. I watched the show and during the breaks would follow xxxxx around like a lost puppy and definitely getting the impression that I was being flaunted but it was defiantly worth the experience. Maybe I am easily amused but watching the show from back stage was incredible. I can imagine that people who travel with the band for a living the view and the energy is normal but to a 25 year old graduate student studying Ethics it’s surreal. After Blink 182 finished their show they asked everyone not working to wait in a tent out back. While I was waiting the members of Jimmy Eats World stopped by. I had the members of the band sign the drumstick I caught earlier; I thought it would we a nice addition to my brother’s birthday. I was trying to wait for xxxxx to finish breaking down the stage but it was getting late and I could only neglect my brother for so long. I really want to thank xxxxx. I realize that I am one of many to him but to me this was a unique and memorable experience that will be with me for the rest of my life. This is the main reason I am right this; I would still like to thank him either by email or letter. However, I no not have the slightest clue on how to do this. If anyone knows how I can convey my message to him it would be very much appreciated.

Bio: I am a 25-year-old graduate student at UNC Charlotte majoring in Biomedical Ethics and Gerontology, yes I know not a popular major. I enjoy playing rugby, drinking, parading around naked and venting my frustrations out on others. And while I’m not relaxing playing rugby I practice yoga in an attempt to balance myself and find other ways to vent pent up sexual frustration, side note it doesn’t work but it does make you really flexible.
