Rich Abrams is the Assistant Theater Operations Manager at Yale University Drama School in New Haven, Connecticut. He has twenty five years of concert security and stagecraft experience, as well as fifteen years of public safety expertise. He serves as the Assistant Chair of Event Services for the Norwalk, Connecticut Oyster Festival each summer, which features three stages and has over 250,000 attendees. Rich has authored articles for Police Chief, Protection Officer, 911 and Security Newsletter magazines about event safety and security. He also is a certified stress management trainer and special event consultant, having travelled to the Hynes Convention Center in Boston and other venues for large corporate exhibit management.
